As a member of the local community for 32 years, Encore Creative places a great emphasis on community involvement and stewardship. Giving back to the community at large, as well as to specific organizations is a key part of our culture.

Many of our associates from top management to line employees participate in a wide variety of service organizations and volunteer for a diverse group of charities from organizations including Phoenix Youth at Risk, Children’s First Academy, Scottsdale Leadership, Valley Big Brothers and Sisters, Chrysalis and Phoenix Pride to mention a few. It is our way of giving back to the community and those in the greatest need.

A beautiful stage, for a wonderful cause.

As a company, we regularly support and to an even broader spectrum of non-profits as part of their fund-raising efforts. We are always willing to offer the best possible “non-profit” rates to charitable organizations, and we have, in specific instances made substantial cash donations as well as in-kind donations in order to help these valuable organizations succeed.

We have paired our corporate clients interested in giving to the community when they visit the Phoenix Metro area on business and have helped to form partnerships with major corporations and Children’s First Academy as well as Habitat for Humanity.

We are always interested in entertaining written requests for event design, production and implementation of events for non-profits and organizations in need…So please spread the word and continue to think of Encore as your community partner in fundraising events!

Fanciful Spring: Cabana Bars, Rare Blooms & Custom Shades

Spring is in full swing at Encore Creative as we are executing some of the most beautiful events in the Valley. In the gallery below we are showcasing our high communal aluminum dining tables with floral orchid balls in bright oranges in purple. Also, check out our cabana-style bar with aluminum bar front. We also complimented the floral designs with stunning linens.

Orchids are in high demand this season as evidenced by the white Phalaenopsis orchids below that add drama to any event. We showcased them on one of our fabulous new favorite linen styles.

Finally, it’s lights on with custom lamp shades and room design that was a collaborative effort by our design, welding, printing and floral teams.

2012 Pride Float

After more than a week of construction and a brand new trailer, our build team definitely went above and beyond this year for the Pride float. Besides being completely mobile, this float has an upgraded electrical and sound system that any DJ can plug in to.

This is our second year supporting the Phoenix Pride Parade. The float sponsor was so excited by the float that we are taking it on the road to the Denver Pride Parade happening in June! Keep an eye out for it.

Last year’s float we built for the Phoenix Pride Parade was amazing and a big hit at the event!

This year, we’ve improved upon a great thing.

The trailer has been upgraded, we’ve added a built-in generator. Upgrades also to the built-in sound system to include more power and speakers. Besides the upgrades, we have made it look even more stunning! Enjoy this sneak peek for now. Check back next week for a complete recap of the build and photos of it at the parade!

Nothing lasts forever. Especially some of our props. When they do break or are in need of repair, it’s never a problem for our build shop. They tackle each project with time, talent and TLC.

Check out our brand spankin’ new Frankenstein head. Carved from a single block of foam and painted to look fantastic in any light! This piece is now 100% ready to scare children and event goers alike.

Encore Across the Nation: Adventures in Naples!

Encore travelled to a beautiful hotel in Naples, Florida last week to produce a corporate party that was a blast! We provided room, stage and table design as well as full show production including teleprompter, custom show graphics, sound and video imaging. Welcome Andy Hutchinson to our team! Andy brings years of lighting and production experience and will help us enhance our lighting and effects department. His creativity is unmatched and we are glad to have his expertise on the team!

With Andy’s expertise we have expanded our services to include show production with an emphasis on lighting, sound, projection and special effects!

Tell us a little about your background?

I have 24 years experience as a lighting designer and production manager. I have worked both nationally and internationally, and I enjoy my job immensely.

What’s your favorite part about your job?

Taking a show from page to stage and translation the clients vision to a tangible product that fulfills all their expectations.

Why are you excited to join the Encore Creative team?

I am looking forward to working in a creative environment with a good team.

What upcoming event are you most looking forward to lending your talent to?

Marsh, I am looking forward to showing our clients that no matter where we are in the world they will still get the same quality end product.

What’s your favorite “spare time” pastime?

Spare time….. I had some once, I didn’t know what to do with it.

Encore Designer Nabs Second Place In National Floral Design Competition

Encore Floral Designer Dustin Guidry recently entered the Mayesh 2012 National Floral Design Contest. Almost 300 floral designers from all over the US participated and thousands of votes were placed.

We are pleased to announce Dustin finished in 2nd place, winning an iPad 2! Congratulations Dustin!

DHL Continues support of Childrens First Academy

DHL recently donated another $12,000 to Children’s First Academy, and we were there to watch it happen!
