Encore Creative Produces Gladys Knight Concert For National Indian Gaming Association

In a brief video take a brief look behind the scenes with us as we take you through the "load-in" and set up of a concert/event held on April 14, 2009, at Gila River Casinos' Wild Horse Pass.  Georgia Varela, one of our operations managers and producers led a team of 50 or more people in a project that included the installation of staging, lighting, sound, backline gear and multiple decor and design elements. Encore Creative booked the artist, negotiated and worked through the "rider" and was responsible for the event from beginning to end.  In addition to the "tech" side, Georgia and her team organized hotel rooms, airport transfers, dressing rooms, RV's for special dressing room needs and the construction of a "quick change" booth for Ms. Knight. In addition, Gila River Casinos' Corporate Director of Marketing, Arlene Alleman, tasked Encore Creative with "branding" decorative elements including glowing bars, color changing "glow cubes" giant spandex sculptures with the casino and N.I.G.A. logos, and, to great effect, Encore's FogScreen.  Guests entered through the FogScreen which displayed a host of sponsor logos and entered the venue which seated 1500 Indian Gaming Association members, executives from Indian Gaming facilities across the United States. This video is most definitely not a professional video, but, nevertheless, meant to depict the great amount of equipment, manpower and organization necessary to produce a corporate entertainment event as well as how much attention is paid by the Encore Creative team to the hundreds of small details required for a successful live entertainment/concert production.  One of the major advantages of working with Encore Creative on an event such as this is that everything from the staging to the lights, sound, production elements, and decorative elements, including "branding" and signage are done in house.
