Meet Our Team: Jennifer Hoffman, Wedding Planner/Social Sales Manager

We are delighted to welcome Jennifer Hoffman to our team as our wedding planner and social sales manager. She will be a fabulous addition and brings insights and talent to Encore Creative! Here’s a little more about Jenn!
Tell us about yourself:
I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. I graduated from Ashland University with a degree in Business Administration and Fashion Merchandising. I have completed many field studies and internships in a variety of cities that include Columbus, Cleveland, Atlanta, New York, Chicago and New Orleans. I previously worked for Bare Escentuals for 3 1/2 years. I believe that I will succeed in my new position here at Encore Creative because I am ready for the new challenge, I am passionate about what I do and I have experience with building and maintaining a client based business.
Why are you excited to take on this new position at Encore Creative?
Well for me there is so much to be excited about! A new career in a new city! The environment, the people, the passion, the creativity that goes on at Encore is so exciting and I am excited to be apart of it!
What skills do you possess that will help you be successful in your new role?
I believe that my ability to relate to others and my excitement will help me in this industry.
What have you observed about Encore Creative so far that is remarkable?
Well, I find everything that Encore does is remarkable. Everyone is so talented and driven here and when I see an event come together and all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes…it’s truly amazing.
What do you do in your spare time?
I played volleyball in college. I love the sport. I am hoping to find and join an adult league out here. I also love traveling and exploring new cities. Arizona has so much to offer and I am excited to explore!
What motivates you to get out of bed each day?
I have so much to look forward to when I wake up each morning. I have a great, exciting new job and live in a beautiful place. Everyday is a new day and I look forward to experiencing, exploring and learning new things each day.

We’ve seen lots of beautiful brides sparkle as they dine in front of a crystal wall or curtain. With a splash of backlight, these crystals glimmer and shine all night long.
Another new trend we’ve spotted to to create a custom canopy of beautiful fabric over the sweetheart table.
Also, consider using an element from your ceremony to create a perfect backdrop. For example, a stunning candle wall during the ceremony can easily be moved to the reception hall.

Encore is Growing!
As you may know, we currently have 50,000 sq/ft of warehouse space to store and build the custom creations we use to produce events. We are pleased to announce we have expanded to an additional 10,000 square feet!
The new space is going to be used for our wood, metal and paint shops, to house some of our larger decor pieces and provide even more space for our linen department!
We are expecting to have the new space up and running very soon and are looking forward to the increased capacity.

Meet Our Team: Kathy Miller, Business Development
We are excited to welcome Kathy Miller to our team! Kathy will spearhead our business development program.
After working in the sales arena for over 12 years, my experience is based on the relationship sell model. I feel that buyers like to feel the connection with the person they are buying from. Trust and confidence is a must! Always follow-up, make the customer feels the love.
What is most exciting for you about working for Encore?
The staff is the best! Their creativity blows me away.
What strengths do you bring to the team?
My drive to execute, networking skills, having a positive vibe, and finally working as a team to achieve our goals.
What have you learned so far that you found remarkable?
How they can take any situation and make it into an explosion of beauty, elegance and fun!
What do you do for fun?
Exploring the beauty of Arizona. I also love to cook, hike, read.
What are your motivations for getting out of bed each day?
The sunny weather (formerly from Michigan), my desire/excitement to get my next new customer.
