Meet Our Team: Jennifer Swanson, Account Manager & Event Designer
Welcome to the team Jennifer Swanson! Jennifer joins us with a plethora of event experience and we are excited to add her expertise to our team!
Give us a snapshot of your experience and education. Why do you think you are going to succeed in your new position?
Born & raised in Rhode Island – Graduated from University of RI with a degree in Communication Studies. I worked for Event Team as a teambuilding facilitator for 2 years. I worked at Hello Arizona! DMC for 6 years and now I’m here. I believe I will succeed because I have experience in the industry and have built up great client relationships.
What is most exciting for you about working for Encore?
New job means new beginnings. Encore is a great company that I’ve worked with for the past 6 years on the DMC side, it’s nice to be part of the team now!
What strengths do you bring to the team?
I believe I am a great “people person.” With 6 years in the industry I’ve been able to make and maintain quality relationships with not only clients but vendors and have gotten to know the Valley pretty well.
What do you do for fun?
Outdoor soccer on Sundays and indoor soccer both womens’ and coed on Monday nights. I also love to golf.
What are your motivations for getting out of bed each day?
I enjoy my job so it’s easy to get out of bed every morning!! Having a good work environment makes it easy to come to work every day!

RendeZoo: A Night Under the Stars
Another amazing community event that we are very proud to be a part of is RendeZoo.
When the sun goes down and the stars sparkle in the night sky, the Phoenix Zoo comes alive for an exotic adventure of dinner, drinks and dazzling experiences!
The city zoo would be the last place you would expect to be dressed up, but that’s exactly what we did! Using custom decor we transformed the zoo into a fanciful party completely with custom lighting and drape.

Camp Soaring Eagle’s Annual Affair
One of our favorite Arizona non-profit organizations is Camp Soaring Eagle. We are honored to assist in the design and execution of their very important events. This year, we designed their Annual Affair held at Los Cedros in North Scottsdale.
Encore Creative provided fire dancers, custom linens, florals and entertainment. We booked world renowned county singer TG Shepard to cap off this fantastic event.
Camp Soaring Eagle had another successful weekend, raising over $300,000 to help fulfill their mission of giving kids with serious illnesses and their families a chance to discover the healing power of laughter and the sheer joy of play. Camp Soaring Eagle provides camping experiences filled with excitement, challenges and fun in a medically safe setting – all at no charge to the children or families.

It’s All Fun and Games
One of our favorite event venues is the “East Lawn” at Phoenician Resort. It’s a fantastic space that lends itself to just about any themed event including this dynamite sports-centric event!
We showcased air hockey, foos ball, pool, video games and even a batting cage! Everything that’s needed for a great night of fun for you and your guests! Get started today!
