Encore Donates To Brides Give Back

We are really excited to announce our participation in a very worthy cause; this year’s “Brides Give Back” event held this Wednesday, February 23 at the historic Ice House in Phoenix.
Brides Give Back is a fabulous event that combines wedding vendors, brides and charity, all to raise funds for worthy causes. The concept is quite simple: vendors donate wedding products and services, brides bid on them in a silent auction format, and the funds raised are donated to charity.
The money raised at this year’s event will benefit “Save the Family Foundation,” an organization that helps empower homeless families with assistance in homebuilding, family re-building and they promote self sufficiency.
Encore has donated one of our signature glow bars to the event and we hope it raises a lot of money to help this worthy cause.

Creative New Design Elements Debut
If you were following on Facebook or Twitter last week, you got a sneak peek of some very cool things that our master craftsmen fabricated in house. We showcased these pieces at an event at The JW Marriot Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa.
We were also able to debut some of the pieces that we acquired from Don Yunker Designs.

Another debut was the latest item created by our master craftsmen; The Truss Highboy table!
We also completed the largest installation of our signature Iron Trees that we have done to-date!
Finally, our Floral Department also got the chance to show off some spectactular pieces and craftsmanship, including the custom glass candle tubes.

Meet Our Team: Kasey Morrow, Sales Coordinator

We are proud to welcome Kasey Morrow to our team. Kasey is working as a sales coordinator and was a huge help with our 2011 Event Design Debut & Open House event!
Tell us a little about yourself Kasey, where have you worked previously and where did you go to school?
I’m an Arizona native; I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Global Business Management & Leadership with a minor in Tourism from Arizona State University. I’ve worked in the hospitality for several years and have also spent some time in the non-profit world in international development planning events.
What is your favorite part about working for Encore Creative?
LUCY! (our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mascot). Walking in the office stepping over dog toys and seeing her sweet face is by far one of my favorite aspects of our office! 
I really enjoy the diversity of projects and that every day is different. One day I’m creating the vision for an event (choosing décor and set design); the next day I might be booking talent (bands, DJs, aerialist, fire eaters, dancers, models, actors, etc), and of course there is going to the events!
What event are you currently working on that is the most exciting?
I’m really excited to see our circus themed event this weekend at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge. The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is hosting a “Promise Ball”, which includes a lot of custom décor and exciting entertainment elements including acrobats!
What do you do in your free time?
I spend as much time with family and friends as possible. I love going out to new restaurants, happy hours, dancing, cooking, traveling and going to small venue concerts.
Where’s your ultimate vacation spot?
Vacation spots…oh so many! I loved Barcelona, the culture and night life is incredible! Switzerland is a favorite for its sheer beauty and tranquility. In the states, I enjoy frequent road trips to Cali… Now I have my eyes on Greece and Prague!
What’s your favorite candy?
I’m a candy-o-holic…really. (haha) I don’t really discriminate too much…but you’d likely bribe me with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Hot Tamales or Dark Chocolate w/Sea Salt. Salt..uh-oh..that’s another addiction I won’t get into.
