Encore Creative 2011 Event Design Debut & Open House Recap
At the event, we offered a complete tour of our Warehouse starting in our newly updated showroom.
At 50,000 sq/ft, the space is very large and fun to check out. With our recent acquistion of Don Yunker Designs entire inventory, we are glad for all that space!
One of the evening’s highlights was getting served champagne by a performance artist hanging from the ceiling.
Champagne in hand, the tour continued on through our production department which included our complete wood and metal shops.
At the end of the tour, sounds of a funky groove laid down by DJ Mars rang through the air as we entered the party zone which we created using our custom furniture and drape.
We were able to set up some of most popular vignettes including fire pits and a hookah lounge. Everyone stayed nice and toasty warm thanks to our newly acquired propane heaters!
Creative Hands Cusine catered the event with gourmet hors de oeurves and cold drinks while our own Alex Solan created a special Encoretini for our guests to enjoy.
We had a wonderful evening and we look forward to hosting more events similar to this at our warehouse in the future.

Meet Our Team: Grace Kim, Scenic Designer

We are so proud to welcome Grace Kim to our team! Grace is a very talented set designer who’s skill set will be a fantastic addition to our staff! Here’s a little about Grace to help you get to know her
Encore: Tell us about yourself Grace!
GK: Born and raised in AZ. Attended Arizona State University Graduated with a major in BA in Theatre concentration in Design and Production.
Encore: What is your favorite part about working at Encore Creative?
GK: My favorite part about working at Encore Creative is the ability to be creative and some freedom in the design process. The fact that we can design and custom build anything is pretty cool.
Encore: What project/event are you currently working on that you enjoy the most?
GK: Currently working on several events. As the scenic designer I have been creating ground plans, renderings, and hand drawings.
Encore: What do you like to do in your free time?
GK: On my free time I like to spend time with my family and friends, cook, watch movies, and work on art projects
Encore: Where’s your ultimate vacation spot? What’s your favorite candy?
GK: My ultimate vacation spot would be Bora Bora I love beautiful oceans. My favorite candy.. well chocolate is ferrero rocher.

Visit Us at The Special Event This Week Jan 26-28!
The Special Event, one of the largest tradeshow and conferences in the world for event professionals, is happening this week at The Phoenix Convention Center. Encore Creative staff will be attending some of the learning tracks offered during this conference starting on the 25th. And starting on the 26th, you will be able to find in the exhibit hall, booth #433!

Encore Creative Acquires Don Yunker Designs Inventory
Don Yunker Designs, after over 20 years in business serving the Tucson, Arizona area, has gone out of business with the passing of Don Yunker in January, 2010.
Specializing in high-end prop and decor design, Don Yunker was highly respected and an entrepreneur who designed much of what his company provided to their customers.
Encore Creative has acquired the inventory of Don Yunker Designs. Their 20,000 sq/ft warehouse full of high-end props and decor has now been added our already extensive inventory.
This acquisition now makes Encore Creative the largest provider of custom props, decor, staging, scenery and displays in Arizona!
The combination of Yunker’s incredible selection of props and staging with our complete custom fabrication facilities makes Encore Creative the most diverse and valuable resource for event production in the Southwest!
